The Prometheus MKII loudspeaker system offers outstanding sound at a moderate price. Dynamic, volume and differentiation create a sound that usually can be expected from systems for the price of a mid-sized automobile. Prometheus MKII is much more flexible than passive loudspeakers due to the possibility o tune the active basses.
The woodworking for the cabinets and the assembly of the kit can be easily done in the DIY-method. Because of the separation of the bass cabinets from the open baffles, only these need to be positioned in the room like common loudspeaker systems.
- 2 units 12'' bass loudspeakers with 1 or 2 Titan plate- amps
- 2 units 12'' 8 Ohms wideband- divers, crossover- less
- 2 units 1" 16 Ohms horn loaded dipole- tweeters
- Efficiency: 100dB/1W/1m (8 Ohms)
- Efficiency of the bass unit is not relevant since it is active.
